Angela Moore is a business owner, coach, speaker, and advocate for personal responsibility, inspiring others to be the change that they want in their lives, homes, workplaces and communities while equipping them with the tools to do so. For over two decades, Angela Moore has assisted clients in the attainment of their fitness and life goals and motivated countless others to live more powerful and healthier lives.
Angela is a NASM Master Trainer, including certifications as a Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Performance Enhancement Specialist and Fitness Nutrition Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She was a National Track Competitor, National Natural Bodybuilding Competitor, and Amateur kick-boxer. She has been in the fitness industry for over twenty years. She has trained every type of person from professional athletes to housewives.
Angela is an Empowerment Coach with a Master of Counseling. She is also a Limited License Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan and a Nationally Certified Counselor specializing in Depression, Anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Grief/Loss and Life Transitions.
Angela received her Master of Arts in Counseling from Oakland University and is a member of the Chi Sigma Iota, Theta Chapter Honor Society for Counseling. She also has a Master of Science in Business Management from Walsh College and was the President and is a member of Delta Mu Delta Honor Society for Business Administration. Additionally, she has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from University of Virginia.
Angela has empowered countless individuals as a fitness presenter for the Detroit Health Empowerment Project and American Heart Association, as a fitness expert on television and a health and fitness presenter to Oakland Schools of Michigan. She has also educated and empowered youth by her participation in the Grow Detroit’s Young Talent (GDYT) Summer Youth Employment Program and Leap Youth Program.
Her radio show Empowered on 910 AM Superstation educates individuals through mental and physical health education and empowers those individuals to be the best that they can be through healthy thinking, healthy living, and exercise. Her radio show also highlights individuals and organizations that empower others or helps them empower themselves.
